I originally was interested in folding poker tables while I sold other products on eBay. I essentially came upon them entirely by accident when I was looking at the items of one of my distributors and noticed them. They drew my fascination so I started doing some studying.
I had always loved getting together with family and friends for a rousing night of cards but I sincerely was not conscious that all these cool poker products were even offered for use at home. We used to gather around a table in the kitchen and get out our crappy poker chips, get out the cards and beverages and the games began. I wondered how these poker tables would influence our games.
So I did my investigation and was really astonished to discover that there were essentially a style of these that did not even need legs called poker table tops. A person could just put them up on top of a dining room table. The colorful graphics printed on them and the poker chip trays and cup holders for each player intrigued me. So I went ahead and ordered one.
After I set it up and we all saw the table top for the first time we were all impressed. It was so interesting and the felt made our game atmosphere so much more realistic. We played a number of times on the poker top but I began to wonder again about the folding poker tables that cost considerably more and all the other poker things I had seen.
So this time I bought a full size table with the blue felt. The first thing I noticed was how heavy it was. This table was for 10 guests and weighed about eighty-five pounds. We set it up in my recreation room and lugged some chairs down from the dining room and a a small number of folding chairs I owned. This table was even more remarkable than the poker table top seeing as it had padded felt. It had a truly fine feel to the felt, almost like a billiard table. It also had a padded arm rest surrounding the entire table which was nice for our arms.
Ok, so now I was hooked. If just buying a table made this much excitement to our gambling, what could it be like to play with the clay poker chips I had seen. They boasted authentic casino size and feel so I had to try it. I got a set of 500 along with a deck of plastic poker cards. To make a lengthy story short, now everyone plays at my place. The chips actually do have a genuine texture to them and they stack really well. The plastic cards are incredible since it is true that you cannot crimp or fold them, and they deal a lot better as well.
With the remarkable changes to our hold 'em games I determined this would be a perfect product line to sell also. Since then I have opened an online poker store and located even more great poker stuff that I never even knew were available. And it all began with folding poker tables and my home hold 'em games with my family.
